a highly unknown pop music genius who recorded a single (“the letter”) with the box tops and made three great alb-ms with a band called big star before slipping even further into obscurity. during the 80s’ and 90s’ he created some ultimately so-so alb-ms. he died on march 17, 2010 from heart problems.
