alter argument
a counter argument that tries to change the meaning of either the original argument or the topic of said argument.
person a: person b, why did you eat my sandwich?
person b: so you didn’t want it to be eaten with milk?
person a: i asked why you ate it, not how you ate it.
that’s an alter argument and you know it!
