ambassador plate
a small plate (normally a bread plate) used to create a small portion of food from your dinner plate for sharing purposes amongst friends, thus preventing awkward plate p-sses and feeding someone off of your fork.
i couldn’t decide on what to get at the restaurant, but thanks to amb-ssador plates i tried the fish, the pork and the chicken.
