ameriball
(abbreviation of american football) a game played by two opposing teams with an oval ball on a 100 yard long rectangular field. teams have four opportunities to advance the ball by 10 yards thus maintaining possession in an attempt to advance across the opponents goal line.
often erroneously referred to as football, ameriball is the more accurate and logical term to use.
