Amglam
short for american glamourisation, amglam is used as a reference for films, programmes, books, songs etc that portray america/americans as all great and wonderful. you will find examples of amglam in most war films/disaster movies.
amglam is also used in real life situations.
it is also used when various media portrays america/americans in out of context ways
i.e. america single-handedly won wars, suffer more than anyone else, are the only ones who matter in the world, are the only ones who can save the world, everyone needs to follow them, thier epic speeches etc etc.
