tinned (canned) italian tomatoes; one of the major suppliers to the royal navy of this commodity was gentleman named signor a. riggoni who had his name in large letters all over the labels. the eponymous term lives to this day.
today we had breakfast of eggs, bacon fried slice and arrigones.
