the belief that one must heavily try to prove that a certain trait of his/her personality is true, even though it may be a charade. founded by avril lavigne in 2002.
eminem uses avrilism in a way that makes him look straight, by having female p-rnography actresses surrounding him in his music videos. it is just a scheme for him to hide his h-m-s-xuality.
