the term “bat out of h-ll” has been incorrectly used for decades. it is actually “bad out of h-ll”. as in “they were coming out of there like the bad out of h-ll.” as if someone opened the gates of h-ll. my grandmother used to say this and she was born in 1902. and, think about it……. there are no animals in h-ll. they cannot sin.
