Ball Night!


refers to a running joke on the popular espn television show pardon the interruption. often at the end of the program, tony kornheiser asks michael wilbon what he will be watching on tv that evening. if the night’s sports action is dominated by a host of good basketball games, wilbon and tony reali let kornheiser know that it is a ball night. this is done via a quick rundown of the best games and a statement that it is a ball night by wilbon, followed by reali yelling “ball night!!!” from off-camera.
wilbon: tony, there are some great nba games tonight, including bulls-heat followed by okc-lakers. it is a ball night! no question!

reali: ball niiiiiiight!!!!!!
