ballybough the slums (ghetto) of dublin. located on the northside of dublin in the east inner city, ballybough is notorious for theft,drugs & murders.one of the sites of ballbough is the tolka river which runs through the centre of this village. ballyboughs main attractions are: the clonliffe house(pub), meaghers (pub), nicos (chipper), the frier tuck (chipper), k-mods (car modifications), little thai restaurant on the edge of clonnliffe road, the canton house (chinese), the blind ref (pub) & plenty of shops along the main “strip”.
