Banattlements
made famous by noel fielding and russell brand on “the big fat quiz of the year 2007”; a term used to describe pieces of banana set up like toy soldiers in front of a podium or person for protection, possibly with pens or pencils sticking out of them. it is a cross between the words “banana” and “battlements”.
