Banter Tilt
similar to when a drunk/inexperienced poker player bets bigger bigger, on increasingly worse hands to gain back the chips he has lost.
a person on “banter tilt”, will seemingly tell increasingly ineffectual jokes in order to win over his/her audience to redeem him/her self from the previous failed jokes.
i only told that racist joke because i was on “banter tilt” i didn’t really mean it.
