Banterogen
noun
typically a substance, (usually alcohol) which, when consumed will make a person banterogenous and will cause them to execute banterous behaviour.
can also refer to a person who, as part of group of lads will be the dedicated ‘banterogen’ – a person who will nearly always be the one to begin a banterous conversation.
“dave drank so many ‘banterogens’ last night, his banterous behaviour became almost unbearable.”
