Bikeabout
when a gang of young people sneak out in the middle of the night to go to the local 7-11 and buy various drinks
none of us have a drivers lisence, so we’ll go on a bikeabout instead
similar to a walkabout, it is a spiritual journey in which a person wanders alone into the wilderness with no particular destination until they find some deeper meaning to their lives. in this case, the journey is taken by bike instead of by foot.
it does not necessarily have to be in complete wilderness, it can include biking through populated areas, but must remain a solo journey with minimal human contact.
after all the cr-p i’ve been through lately, i’ve really felt a loss of ident-ty, i can’t seem to make sense of who i am anymore. i need to find myself. i think i’ll go on a bikeabout and find out what it’s all about.
