featured with his wife susette man-ssero in soledad obrien’s 2010 cnn doc-mentary rescued, bill man-ssero is a christian missionary in port-au-prince, haiti. the man-sseros unique ministry helps street children to get off the streets and build a promising life for themselves. bill man-ssero spent 25 years in business before selling all his possessions to go into full-time ministry, first as a children’s musicianary, writing and performing songs around the world with his mister bill band and, later, moving to haiti to serve the street children of port-au-prince by founding “the light house” orphanage – part of child hope international, childhope.org.
