a condition brought on by repeated blunders and failures in rapid succession, in which the victim can’t help but continue failing and blundering. often dangerous, bird fever spirals out of control and can not be stopped with out intervention or removal from the situation. with out help the condition can lead to injury and embarr-ssment. in rare cases it can be fatal.
when the lunch rush hit, he caught bird fever and spilled hot grease down his leg.

uh-oh, looks like leroy caught bird fever. better go help him out before sh-t gets extra f-cked up.
