bit it
a general term for what you did when you get doored, face plant or somehow trip, slip or otherwise fall
jim’s skateboard landed on gravel. that’s when he bit it.
an abbreviation of b-tch t-ts that is more affectionate than its synonymous brethren. generally used in jest and received amicably by a loved one comfortable in his own skin (and bit-ts).
laura: “honey, mind if i rest my head on your bit-ts?”
mitch: (smiles) “why certainly darling.”
a slang term for having an unintentional accident causing property damage and/or bodily damage and/or death to the person causing the accident
#1. (employee calling boss when coming back from lunch): “some dude bit it about 100 yds ahead, and the police are here. i have to take an alternate route. i’ll be there in about 15 minutes.”
#2. “that skateboarder sure bit it when he didn’t make the 360.”
a shorter way of saying that someone/something has “bit the dust”, died, or no longer functioning.
our television worked great for the last twenty-five years but last night it finally bit it.
