blackberry freeze
the situation that occurs when someone is partic-p-ting in another activity (exe. walking, talking, working out, etc.) and realizes that they have email, facebook notifications, etc. on their blackberry, and is forced to stop their current activity and respond to multiple forms of communication on their blackberry before returning to their original task.
look at that idiot stopped in the crosswalk, he pulled out his blackberry, saw his messages, and now is stuck in a blackberry freeze right in the middle of the street.
