Blicket

a cute animal.

originally, this word was used in a psychological study looking at how children attain new words. a young child was shown multiple stuffed toys and told they were blickets; the experimenter then held up a stuffed toy and a different object, and asked the child which was the blicket. the child’s reaction was observed.

in recent times, the word has been adopted to mean any cute, or slightly odd but still cute animal.
