Blockathon
a defensive strategy used in cricket where a team defends as many b-lls as possible until end of play in order to avoid a defeat.
often used in 5-day test cricket when you trail by a huge margin or when you are in dire straits of losing the match, employing the strategy of not scoring but trying to spend as much time so you can get to the end of the day-five without a result. a draw is always better than a loss in cricket.
