bmw m5 g30
as a successor to the 560hp f10, the g30 m5 will take over the dodge charger h-llcat as the world’s fastest production four-door sedan.
the f10-replacing g30 generation of the m5 will be powered by a 6.0-liter, pushrod, twin-turbo, “ltm” v8 developed by gm with an output of 830 hp (619 kw) and 800 ft-lbs (1085 nm) of torque. the engine is currently developed by the workers at both gm and bmw. it will come standard with a 7-speed m-dct (dual-clutch transmission), but a whole new, 11-speed automatic transmission is on its way to be ordered as an ‘option’ for the new m5. its top speed will continue to be governed to 155 mph, but without the limiter, it will be able to reach 211-224 mph.
the bmw m5 g30 will be no joke. it’s on its way. today, there’s the f10 m5. back then, there was the e60 m5, then the e39, etc etc. the bmw m5 is always trying to top the performance sedan cl-ss! with 500 hp back in 2004, barely even supercars like the ford gt and the lamborghini gallardo caught up with it!
