noun. similar in meaning to a booty call. to use someone you do not particularly care for, but put up with nonetheless because of his/her ownership of a boat. usually made when you are in desperate need of aquatic fun and games and have no boat of your own.
it’s almost summer, i need to get started on my boaty calls.
