brewhe

a “brewhe” is a word used by italian-americans as a code word for a jew. the word’s roots come from the native language of the jews: hebrew. generally, the italians using it are young guidos from new york/jersey who try to act like their parents. 80% of the time, the parents of these young guidos are from the new york city boroughs of queens or the bronx, and are severely racist and/or obnoxious, which then influences their young offspring of guidos or guidettes to act the same way. however, in some instances, the word is used frequently by italian-americans from long island(90% of the island being known for its heavy jewish population). the italians, being a minority in long island, use brewhe instead of “jew” so that the jews will not know that the italians are talking about them.
“yo sal, look at that brewhe over there with his huge nose.”-
-“he can probably smell a dollar on the floor a mile and a half away.”
