those super adorable, very affectionate couples that you always see on the a,c or the l or any other brooklyn-bound trains in new york city. they are usually the intellectual type, grad students/thirtysomethings who can’t afford/don’t want to live in manhattan; or grown-up hipsters, and often still have the leftover trappings of the emo (square gl-sses, converse).
