Brooklynge
brooklynge is suburb called björklinge which is situated 15 miles north of the swedish town uppsala. the name itself is a word play on the new york borough brooklyn. since many of the inhabitants of björklinge/brooklynge listen to hip hop artists that come from brooklyn or have some sort of connection to the borough, the suburb has turned into a reflection of this new york borough. it is mainly the younger generation that has accepted and embraced the new name.
