Broonhilda
a female german name mentioned in “django unchain”. in the movie, broonhilda was a slave to a german family who taught her german in order to please her female owner. she is also the wife of the protagonist django. dr. schultz as he tells the german tale of broonhilda to django says,
django: does a fella arise?
dr. king schultz: yes, django, as a matter of fact, he does. a fella named siegfried.
django: does siegfried save her?
dr. king schultz: nods quiet spectacularly so. he scales the mountain, because he’s not afraid of it. he slays the dragon, because he’s not afraid of him. and he walks through h-llfire… because broonhilda’s worth it.
django: i know he feels.
