bus hoarder
1. used to define individuals on a public transit vehicle that are completely oblivious to their surroundings, including but not exclusive to the mile long lineup of people at the bus stop. individuals inside said transit vehicle that can’t move further into the vehicle (usually a bus) thanks to the bus h–rder who refuses to move further back into the bus even though there‘s sp-ce for at least ten more people.
2. bus h–rders have no bus etiquette including neglecting backpack removal, and generally taking up as much sp-ce as physically possible, therefore h–rding the sp-ce in the bus.
bus driver : please move to the back of the bus.
guy1: man, this bus h–rder in front of me isn’t movin’ his -ss.
guy2: kids these days.

a phrase to use when referring to unknown variables which might upset an otherwise sound plan or theory. a reference to the b-tterfly effect. ‘this should go without a hitch provided we don’t get a b-tterfly in the works!’ 5 minutes later: ‘argh my spleen’
