Cabasa
a percussion instrument made with loops of steel ball chain wrapped around textured metal on a wide cylinder with an attached handle. usually made of wood or plastic. sound is produced when the loops are scr-ped over the metal. similar to the shekere, and african instrument with a net of strung beads over a hollowed out gourd.
