the third and final wife of julius caesar. also the name of the mother figure in the old story “to kill a mockingbird.”
the wife of caesar was his final wife. they never had any children, and she never remarried after his death. evidence points to her being humble and shy. she attempted to warn caesar to stay home and tell the senate that he was sick. instead, he rejected the plan and was led to his death.
the calpurnia in “to kill a mockingbird” is a respectable black woman and a cook for atticus finch and his children. however, she serves as a mother to them as well. she is important to the story in multiple situations, making sure atticus’ kids behave properly.
i don’t understand why you would need me to explain how to use calpurnia in a sentence. it’s just a name.
