2. cancelgate (v.): to schedule meetings with colleagues, clients, family etc knowing you will end up cancelling and using a plethora of bullsh-t excuses to get out of attending forcing others to cover for you
1. dude, last week bill’s kid was sick, yesterday his car broke down, and today he missed his flight. we’ve covered his meetings, but his clients are p-ssed. he’s created a major “cancelgate” again.
2. there you go “cancelgating” again. you promised you would be here and now you tell me 5 minutes beforehand you can’t because your kid has chicken pox for the third time this year???
