caps lock (often shortened is considered “shouting” on the internet, online chatrooms, and instant messaging. avoid using to get your point across.
i’m using caps lock on my posts because it makes what i say more factual and important!!!!!!!!!

a key on the keyboard that tweenie girls, newbies and the mentally unstable insist on pressing and using for their entire forum post/im/text message for reasons unknown.
perhaps they think it looks cool, or maybe they can’t do joined-up writing yet and write in block capitals.
it is the most annoying b-tton in existence.

the b-tton on a key pad that makes the letters typed after pressing it in capital letters. it can also be used to give the affect of angryness. oh for the sake of pete i pushed that d-mn caps lock b-tton again!

person 1: caps lock is so useless.
person 2: yes, why do we need it when we have two shift keys?
1) an annoying b-tton you press accidentally when you least expect it and bombards you with sentences like this.
2) a skill in which all players of text-based mmorpg’s do not seem to be able to turn off until level 3
