cardistry
cardistry is the non-magical, artistic manipulation of playing cards. think of shuffles, one-handed cuts, armspreads, springs, displays (like shapes), and whatever your imagination can conceive and your fingers can accomplish.
after making a perfect card fan with one hand and tossing it behind his back to the other, i quickly realized i might have been watching one of the best cardistry performances ever.
