the act of one embarr-ssing another to the point of sabotaging them in some way, shape, or form. origin: rolling a dead body in a carpet and disposing of it.
i met my heroes at the show last night but my friend was being such a pain; she carpet-rolled me, and i think they got the wrong impression of the both of us.
i tried to talk to her when we ran into each other, but her mom was carpet-rolling our whole conversation.
i’m sorry i was carpet-rolling you at the party last night, i was just jealous.
