“chauner” refers to an obese person who lives on state benefits, as a result of being too fat to work. this is a derogatory term, and only refers to those who are obese out of choice (not those who are obese through a medical condition). this word comes from a family who live in blackburn, england. the father of the family is quoted as saying “sometimes i get tired from watching tv so i have to have a little nap”
