a chavputer is a term used to describe a computer which has been highly modified, or custom built for high performance.
it refers to the term chav, in particular the common conception that a chav drives a highly modified car, usually in the form of extra’s, tuning, lights, and bodywork. to some this look is gaudy, or un-tasteful.
a chavputer can be thought of in the same way, the case has had lighting, extra fans for improved cooling, clear panels and high end graphics cards installed for example.
a chavputer is usually referring to a gaming pc, where high performance and modifications are needed.
