chefing around occurs when excessly obnoxious over-deligating is detected. similar to talking to lumburg, being chefed makes the victum want to punch his chefer in the face. chefs can come in many shapes and sizes-beware!
boss walks past subordinate to see the printer is having some troubles. boss returns to his desk in an adjacsent room and calls for subordinate. upon entering…
boss: “how we looking?”
subordinate: “huh?”
boss: “yeah, if we could take a look at that printer champ, it has a paper jam.”
subordinate: “d-mn it, why are you chefing me around?!?!”
