the word is believed to have originated from a game of cod4 on xbox live when a players name, ciggy b-tt, was miss pr-nounced as chiggy b-tt and its definition grew from there. chiggy b-tt is a noun which describes being of failure, of epic proportions. a chiggy b-tt sucks at life and everything that he/she/it partic-p-tes in. one who is not a chiggy b-tt yet still a m-ssive failure can achive what one might call chiggy b-tt status; in other words be in the state of a chiggy b-tt for a temporary period of time. chiggy b-tt, though not one word, is commonly pr-nounced as one word with 3 syllables: chig-gy-b-tt
