Clearing
the act of losing a “table game” led by the older of two age groups at camp, and being forced to take everyone’s plates and silverware up. it is a very unwanted job. also used as a figurative expression when someone does something stupid, a given older kid will pretend that the younger kid deserved to clear the table for what they said or did.
