clippertuck is the traditional australian slang term for any meal that involves the use of tongs. sausages, steak, wallaby and the dreaded wallatonga beast all fit the category of clippertuck. if one is to use clippertuck in the wrong circ-mstances, say, when referring to a cracker dish, it is said that the entire population of alice springs will hunt you down, and pull out your tongue with a set of golden tongs.
