the creature which creates cob-webs. commonly mistaken as spiders; cobs are a similar creature to the spider, ( a cousin to the spider if you will). spider webs and cob webs are very commonly mistaken for one-another by the vast majority of the population because of close similarity. cobs are also vary rare, due to environmental changes with in the past 30-40 years; one may hear an elderly person (an individual possibly over the age of 60-65) refer to spider webs as cob webs due to cobs were more populous during the early 20th century and lurking in many tool sheds, garages, and bas-m-nts across the country.
