word often used by a reservations agent at a hotel to describe what must have happened to a guest that books a room that’s not available because the wrong availability was posted on said hotels website.
guest: i was just on your website and i booked a one-bedroom condo…i’d like to get my confirmation #.
reservations agent:{after noticing that this specific room type was sold out} i am sorry sir..but i show that you booked a 2-bedroom condo.
guest: no, i booked a 1-bedroom. i was just on your site.
reservations agent: there must have been a computer glich.
