Cop and Roll
“cop and roll” means to grab your drugs or whatever, and leave the immediate area quickly. it is a combination of two terms: to “cop” which is to purchase or acquire something (often drugs or loot). the term originated with street drug users as a way to quickly say “going to buy drugs” in less conspicuous terms. the term “roll” means to quickly depart. the combo phrase can be used at a bank or really at any place there is a long line and the people in front of you are not “rolling” to make way for the next in line.
guy 1: yo these dudes in front of us are taking forever – they already got their drinks – now they just hitting on that hot bartender..
guy 2: no doubt, these boys need to just cop and roll. stop holding up the line..
