the act of an official in a correctional facility getting bested by an inmate. having “the wool pulled over you’re eyes”. this often happens when the said official always thinks they are right and tries to get an inmate only to have the inmate get one over on them.
officer smith is always tring to catch inmate jones breaking the rules but jones always costellos officer smith. smith must be sick of getting costelloed all the time
