it is a term often used to criticise vegans because of the stereotypes made about them that include the thought that they all the protest, which is seen as annoying, crazy, and not needed. people also use it because they disgaree with veganism and think it is a ‘crazy’ idea. usually the term is used by very closed minded and possibly ignorant people.
