crime allowance

when a corrupt authoritative high ranking or low ranking official of any governmental, state, or private inst-tution or organization grants certain people, for whatever reason, the permission to commit crimes and get away with them.
an example of a crime allowance refers to how some authorities may turn their heads on the crimes committed by a rich person if that particular authority figure knows there may be a monetary incentive from which he/she may benefit from. another example would be the authorities providing gangs or the enemies of a person they want to -ssasinate, military weaponry that would otherwise be illegal for the -ssailants to have in their possession under state and federsl law, however, they are allowed to use these weapons to commit murder but are not prosecuted for their crimes because of the connections they have with corrupt members of a police force or military branch.
