1. the terms and other manifestations of human interaction used exclusively in the collective corporate environment.
similar to the definition of culture in that it describes the social inst-tutions of a particular group of people; in this case, those who work in and around cubicles or in a traditional corporate setting.
cubiculture manifests itself in such terms such as:
“how’s your bandwidth, bobby?”
“we have some things coming down the pipeline.”
“what’s on your plate today?”
a very apt depiction of cubiculture can be found in the movie “office sp-ce”:
“he’s got a case of the monday’s”
“yeah. it’s just that we’re putting new coversheets on all the tps reports -before- they go out now. so if you could just remember to do that from now on, that’d be great. all right!”
