the foods that were eaten as a matter of course a hundred years ago but have lost favour with modern audiences, mainly because our palates have changed. secondary meaning: the shifting of the cultural palate.
eg: “i couldn’t stand to eat all that cunkage. tripe is just revolting to me.”
