also: a nickname i came up with many years ago after playing first-person shooters (namely counter-strike). it expresses what happens in these games.
when you play an online fps, when you die…you experience cyberdeath. also, if you did something atrocious online you could also be considered to have committed cyberdeath.
after writing that horrible article, i think i’m going to experience cyberdeath.
