the act of performing a “d-sund” upon another person (usually an opponent in ice hockey); derived from the hockey great donald sund who devised the original motion of ice hockey movements involved in this trick, which consists of a dazzling setup of fakes that deceive the opponent and ultimately result in humiliation for the defender; a reference to the state of one’s well-being after public humiliation, embarr-ssment, and/or disgrace.
