a brand of clothing that your dad would wear. not any reference to the quality or price, but the image that a particular brand gives off. not something a guy under the age of 25-30 would prefer to wear. examples: orvis, eddie bauer, wrangler’s, greg norman, walter hagen, tommy bahama, etc.
guy 1: hey bro, let’s stop by the orvis store.
guy 2: nah man, that’s such a dad brand. i’ll meet you at h&m.
